HeartBuds Trifolds

I designed a series of tri-fold brochures for HeartBuds, focusing on different audiences. Each design highlighted the benefits of the device.

I designed a series of five tri-fold brochures for HeartBuds, an electronic device that allows you to listen, view, record and share your heart rate from an iPhone app. Each brochure kept the same internal information, but its cover varied depending on the target audience. The goal was to attract different users and show them the value of the product in their daily lives.

The HeartBuds brochures targeted five types of users. One targeted pregnant women who want to listen to their babies' heartbeats and share them with their loved ones. Another targeted athletes interested in monitoring their pulse to optimize their performance without losing their cool. I designed another for those who practice more relaxed activities, such as yoga, and need to monitor their heart rate. I also developed a version for seniors who want to monitor their cardiovascular health with ease. Finally, I created a design for children, intended to pique their curiosity and help them learn about the heart in their science classes.

Each tri-fold brochure explained the purpose of the device, its use cases and its operation. The information was organized in a clear and simple way, allowing anyone to understand its usefulness quickly. I also included directions on how to buy it, making it easy to access the product. The structure ensured that the message was direct and effective.

The visual design of the tri-fold brochures was inspired by the brand identity. I used the colors of the logo to reinforce visual coherence and enhance product recognition. I incorporated heart rate lines in the composition, evoking the main function of the device. These graphic elements gave dynamism to the design and highlighted HeartBuds' innovative technology.

The main challenge was to adapt the design for each audience without losing the visual unity. Each version maintained the same graphic style, but with differentiating details that connected with each audience. The selection of images, typography and layout was adjusted to convey specific messages without losing the overall harmony.

This project was a strategic design exercise, where I managed to communicate a clear message to different user profiles. Each tri-fold brochure not only presented the product, but also highlighted its impact on each user's life. Thanks to a combination of attractive design and well-structured content, we were able to convey the essence of HeartBuds effectively.
