Virgin of Coromoto Novena Campaign

Campaign for the Novena of the Virgin of Coromoto, carried out by Asoven, helping to promote Venezuelan Marian devotion.

I made these publications to celebrate the Novena of the Virgin of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela. Asoven (Association of Venezuelans in Argentina) organized this initiative with the slogan “We pray in Argentina for Venezuela and Venezuelans”. The project promoted Marian devotion, strengthened the community and supported Venezuelan entrepreneurs who create religious handicrafts.

I designed nine graphic pieces for Instagram and Facebook, in the format of posts and stories. Each publication showed a handicraft of the Virgin of Coromoto, made by Venezuelan entrepreneurs. In addition to spreading the Novena, the campaign helped these artisans gain more visibility within the community. Asoven, with its wide reach on social networks, allowed its followers to learn about the work of these entrepreneurs and become interested in their creations.

The graphic design followed a harmonious and spiritual visual line. Each piece combined photography, elegant typography and a soft color palette. The goal was to convey peace, faith and connection with the Virgin of Coromoto. To maintain visual coherence, I used a uniform style in all publications.

In addition to the graphic pieces, I produced a special video for the Novena. I gathered images and clips of the Virgin of Coromoto in an audiovisual collage. A song dedicated to her accompanied the sequence, generating an emotional and profound experience. This video strengthened the sense of identity and faith among Venezuelans in Argentina, connecting them with their roots.

Asoven works actively in the integration of Venezuelans in Argentina. Its work includes cultural and solidarity activities that reinforce the sense of community. With the publications of the Novena of the Virgin of Coromoto, they not only fostered spirituality, but also promoted the talent of Venezuelan entrepreneurs.

This project showed the power of visual communication in cultural and religious campaigns. It helped connect the community, promote tradition and provide mutual support. Each design sought to convey the love and devotion that the Virgin of Coromoto inspires in Venezuelans, no matter where they are.
